RBAW Board Members, Yacht Club Officers and RBAW Delegates –

This email serves as notice of the May Board of Directors meeting which will be held on Thursday, May 7th, 2026. This is a  Zoom only meeting - there is no in-person option. 

This meeting will be dedicated to a dialogue with our member yacht clubs and will allow you to provide feedback on our current priorities and programs as well as provide guidance for where we might focus next. RBAW Delegates & Yacht Club Officers are encouraged to attend!

Specifically, we will clarify RBAW’s structure, funding, and efforts on behalf of Washington boaters and initiate a dialogue to get your input on key questions going forward:

• Is RBAW returning good value to your members?
• How can we better inform you and your members about what RBAW is doing?
• What about future opportunities, e.g., free mobile pumpout in the San Juans, and the future of Blake Island?
• What else can/should RBAW do on behalf of your clubs and all boaters in Washington?

Meeting Details

• We will start the meeting and come to order at 6pm via Zoom.
• The board packet (agenda, minutes, reports, etc.) will be sent out a few days prior.
• Board members, Committee Chairs and any others submitting reports or information to share, please send to Gwen (admin@rbaw.org) by Friday, May 1st for inclusion in the board packet. 

Our monthly board meetings provide the forum where we can make progress on recreational boating issues - and for our RBAW organization. Thank you in advance for your attendance and participation.
